New Facebook Watch Comedy Series

Share This Post An adult-comedy animated series starring Zac Efron and Anna Kendrick called “Human Discoveries” is coming to Facebook Watch, a video-on-demand service operated by Facebook. The cast also includes Jillian Bell, and Paul Scheer plays a dude named Ugg. The central characters are living at the dawn of human civilization and slowly discover those pesky little necessities, like fire and the wheel, as well as art, alcohol, fashion, racism, small talk and monogamy making the series sound like Land of the Lost meets the Invention of Lying. Created by longtime childhood friends, Chris Bruno and David Howard Lee, the idea for the animated series was born over a shared bag of popcorn that led them to wonder about the first person to pop a corn kernel over a fire. The American Black Film Festival is going down in Miami and TheGrio is front and center for all the festivities. Tons of famous faces headed down to the beach this week to mix and mingle with fans, creatives, and journalists as they premiered their projects and participated in panels about navigating the entertainment industry.
