A rapidly rising comedy star, Chris McCausland, and veteran stand up and Hollywood actor Omid Djalili are currently on tour and will be heading to Britain's Ocean City in the coming months. The pair of comedians are coming to Plymouth.
Omid is an award winning British-Iranian actor and comedian who will be coming to The Quad Theatre at Marjon University in October with his 'The Good Times Tour.' He will be hitting the stage and entertaining a Plymouth crowd on 27 October 2022.
Omid is well-loved for his legendary stand-up shows and his performances are famed for their piercing wit – with routines that range from the provocative to the silly. Omid’s stand-up is always highly energetic, incredibly passionate and above all supremely entertaining.
Additionally, Omid’s drama, Letter For The King was on Netflix and the second series of 'His Dark Materials' aired on the BBC. He is also the host of ITV quiz show Winning Combination, which aired in November 2020.
Chris has appeared on Live at the Apollo three times, and has made a debut appearance on the Royal Variety Performance which aired in December and in which he had the esteemed guests rolling in the aisles. He has also recently made appearances on celebrity editions of favourites such as Mastermind, The Chase, Antiques Road Trip and Blankety Blank.
He says that he can't wait to get out on the road for what will be his first national tour. He will be coming to Plymouth on 17 November 2022 at The Quad Theatre, Marjon University. Originally from Liverpool, Chris has spent almost two decades travelling the country performing stand-up comedy, and has long been firmly established at the very top of the UK’s live comedy circuit.
Chris is also blind due to a degenerative eye disorder called Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), which caused him to lose his sight gradually throughout the first 20 or so years of his life. Tickets are still available to purchase for both shows on the Comical Entertainment website.
