Kevin Hart’s Comedy Special

Kevin Hart to drop special on April 2nd

Kevin Hart recently asked fans to mark their calendars for his first Netflix comedy special, April 2nd. The announcement came last Monday and by Tuesday had racked up nearly 200,000 views on Twitter alone. His new hour-long special is called “Irresponsible” and will be available on Netflix beginning on April 2nd. He hashtagged the date with #comedicrockstar, which is typically something you’d let other people all you, but this is Kevin Hart, and he IS a Comedic Rock Star.

Hart’s stand up specials are always bigger than life. His last three tours were released in theaters– Laugh at My Pain (2011), Let Me Explain (2013), and What Now? (2016). His Irresponsible tour, which led to the current special broke records as he toured it worldwide with 147 dates in the US alone, and at least 25 international dates across three countries.

Kevin Hart comedy special wish list

Topics on our Kevin-Hart-comedy-special-wish-list? Go in on the Oscar fiasco. We want to know the specifics behind his decision to quit and what he thought of the Oscar broadcast, (minus the political correctness plaguing our society). Because its a big part of Kevin Hart, the man, we want an update on his co-parenting situation. Oh, and the cheating scandal. We want juicy details Mister Hart. Come out of the safe-zone and give us some raw ish’. You’re uber rich now, don’t be skurred of critics! Give us the real-real!

Next up for comedian Kevin Hart

Hart’s stand up is just one part of his full package. Earlier this year, we took a look at the ever expanding empire Hart presides over, and since then more announcements and projects just keep coming. In addition to the special, Hart is producing FX’s upcoming comedy series starring Lil Dicky as well as a live-action Monopoly movie. This is, of course, in addition to working on a sequel to the hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle opposite his buddy and sometime social media sparring partner Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Watch Kevin Hart’s “Irresponsible” on April 2nd exclusively on Netflix.
